Dimapur, Nov. 19 (EMN): The nominations for the 7th edition of “The Game Awards 2020,” an annual awards ceremony honouring achievements in the video game industry, were announced yesterday, November 18. This year’s edition sees Sony Interactive Entertainment leading the pack with 22 total nominations.
This year, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the event will be hosted virtually online on December 10, 2020, across more than 45 global video platforms. Indian viewers can watch the live event on MTV India, Disney Plus, Hotstar, Jio TV, MX Player, Voot, and Airtel India.
Notable games that got snubbed for this year’s edition are PUBG Mobile, Dota 2, Free Fire, Demon’s Souls, Star Wars: Squadrons, Hearthstone and Risk of Rain 2 among others.
