‘The Football League’ trials to scout under-13 talents from April 5

DIMAPUR — Dimapur Sporting Club, in collaboration with BigHit Sportz, a prominent multi-sport platform dedicated to nurturing young talents, and Bundesliga International, has announced ‘The Football League’ trials for under-13 players in Nagaland.

The event will take place at the Astro Turf Football Ground, Police Complex, Chümoukedima, on April 5 and 6, according to a press release. The event is part of the Bundesliga Dream initiative aimed at identifying and scouting six under-13 and under-15 football teams across India.

In the football league’s pan-India trials and tournaments, participating footballers will strive to surpass competition and secure their path to the national finals. Following this, a panel of jurors, comprising international coaches from Bundesliga clubs and local Indian coaches, will select squads for Bundesliga Dream India.

Furthermore, the scouted footballers will travel to Germany to train at the Bundesliga youth academies during fiscal years 23–24 and 24–25. They will participate in friendly matches against Bundesliga youth teams.

The organisers clarified that participants in the trials must have been born after April 2011. To register, players have been instructed to log in directly from the BigHit Sportz app, which is available on the Google Play Store.

The Football League (TFL) is an initiative by BigHit aimed at hosting and organising trials and tournaments for various age groups across different states and cities in India.

The objective is to offer footballers an opportunity and platform to display their talent and progress, as well as to scout the top talent for the Bundesliga Dream (under 13 and under 15) and FC Bayern Youth Cup (under 16).
