Kohima, Nov. 30 (EMN): The Entrepreneurs Associates (tEA) on Wednesday launched two innovators’ products 2022– bio-enhancer for floriculture by Peihauding Zeliang and LED bulbs by Likyuse Sangtam.

Both the innovators were funded under the Entrepreneurs Associates Innovation Fund (EAIF) programme.

The EAIF will support Peihauding to produce organic healing paste and a bio-enhancer for mass plantation in the next phase. The tEA also announced assembling of LED bulbs for sale in Nagaland under the brands ‘Youlite’ and ‘Econova’ in the first phase, and conceptualising and branding of the product in the second phase.

Advisor of management team, tEA, Manipur, Gopen Moses, speaking during the launching of the products, said the EAIF was created out of necessity.

“The youths have lot of talents and need space to grow those talents, which is why the platform was created to promote entrepreneurs and for them to play a role in the market,” Moses said.

‘If the Northeast in general does not play a role in the market, we are going to be subdued by the competitive market forces. We need to become forces in the market,’ he added.

He hoped that the innovators would create many more opportunities in the future for.

Peihauding Zeliang, winner of the EAIF awards in 2018 for his innovation ‘bio-enhancer for floriculture,’ said the product contains 100 percent organic, activated carbon, can balance chemical stability in the soil, bio enhancer-almost everything is played by micro organism.

Disclosing that it took him five years of experiment and testing to finally launch the product, he also highlighted on advantages of the product.

Likyuse Sangtam said his LED bulbs are eco-friendly. A self taught entrepreneur, Sangtam started his journey last year to address the ‘erratic’ electricity in Nagaland.

The tEA under the EAIF pogramme awarded him INR 1.5 lakh with zero interest to scale his initiatives.
