A Higher Power, better perceived as God, beyond human comprehension in His infinite Wisdom created time, space and matter resulting in all things in existence both living and non-living; since, in existence now and in times bygone (Gen : 1). I debate not on the being hood of a master architect and a pre-eminent intellect because it's crystal clear to all sensible humans that such perfection in designing a faultless macrocosm amongst all outlandish complexities where even science falls short to prove and convince.
Higher Power or God in His unconditional love for us bequeathed humans to make good use of all that He has created and watch over them (Gen 1:26,28). An act of genuine trust, love and generosity. What faith? How unflinching is His love for us? Unfortunately, the world that we live in today, the systems, the seemingly plausible ideas and information influencing our intellect and swapping with those of which we never ever really re-evaluated; blindly led a blind (Matt 15:14). The basic instructions and commandments of God is neglected and human reasoning resulting out of carnal selfish objective is distinctly apparent. The 7 deadly or cardinal sins in the Roman Catholic Theology (1) vain glory, or pride, (2) greed, or covetousness, (3) lust, or inordinate or illicit sexual desire, (4) envy, (5) gluttony, which is usually understood to include drunkenness, (6) wrath, or anger, and (7) sloth is rampant and brazenly exploited for momentary pleasure. Remember, 1 Timothy 6:10 'For the love of money is the root of all of evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.' Many catastrophies and the awfull incidences happening these days are man-made; be it personal, social, financial, environment and the ecological systems. It is heartbreaking indeed, whenever the states of affairs is thought about. The present is getting worse and the humane God given trait is diminishing day by day. The most unfortunate thing is that many don't even realise or admit their follies. Future is at our mercy, all morally fallacious things has to be set right.
Each of these can be overcome with the seven corresponding virtues of (1) humility, (2) charity, (3) chastity, (4) gratitude, (5) temperance, (6) patience, and (7) diligence.
'But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.'
