Indian fans of the Beatles have a reason to rejoice as music streaming service Saavn has now made the legendary British rock band’s timeless hits available in the country. Saavn has announced the exclusive release of the Beatles’ catalogue of 13 re-mastered British studio albums and six essential collections, making the music of the legendary English rock band available for streaming for the first time on an Indian platform on Friday, The Beatles’ music first became available through streaming services to much of the world last December. “The Beatles are one of the most iconic rock bands in the world. They represent music for all generations and it is like an honour for us to be bringing this music in India,” Paramdeep Singh, Saavn’s Co-Founder and Executive Chairman, told IANS. “For so many years, the rights and catalogue has been held back from the public for variety of reasons, but fortunately it is now made available all over the world and we are bringing it to India. We want to bring it in a meaningful way. We want to make sure that fans are aware,” he added.
