‘Thalapathy 67’: Check out the full cast and crew of Vijay, Katrina-starrer

Tamil actor Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj have joined hands again after their blockbuster flick in the form of ‘Master’. Their second collaboration is much bigger than their first flick as it has several big names in the cast.

The movie, which is presently referred to as ‘Thalapathy 67’, is produced by SS Lalit Kumar and co-produced by Jagadish Palanisamy. The shooting of the movie commenced on January 2 and progressing at a brisk pace.

“7 Screen Studio is excited in officially bringing you the announcement of our prestigious project. Following the blockbuster success of Master and Varisu, we are delighted and proud to collaborate with Thalapathy Vijay sir, for the third time,” producer Lalit Kumar said in a press release.

After formally announcing the news of Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s second collaboration, the makers have now revealed the names of the cast and crew of the movie on Twitter. The posters in which their quotes are imprinted on it are being released on social media.

The first name to be announced by Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt. “When I heard the one liner of Thalapathy67, I knew in that exact moment I had to be a part of this film and I’m thrilled to start this journey,” he said in the poster.

Crew:

The movie has the music of youth sensation Anirudh Ravichander. This is his fourth collaboration with Vijay after ‘Kaththi’, ‘Master’ and ‘Beast’. It has to be noted that his songs in Thalapathy’s flicks have always stuck a chord with listeners.

The makers have signed Manoj Paramahamsa to handle the cinematography department. He had earlier worked with Vijay in ‘Nanban’ (Tamil version of ‘3 Idiots) and ‘Beast’. Also, they have roped in Philomin Raj for editing, N Sathees Kumar (art director), Dinesh ( dance Choreography) and Anbariv (action director).

Lokesh Kanagaraj, Rathna Kumar and Deeraj Vaidy will be penning the dialogues for the movie which is expected to hit the screens for Dasara festival later this year.
