DIMAPUR — The Tenyimi Youth Organisation Dimapur (TYOD) and the Meriema Village Gazetted Officers’ Krotho (MVGOK) have announced new executive leadership teams for their respective tenures during separate programmes.
TYOD: TYOD conducted its general session and change of guard at TL Angami Park, Chümoukedima, on May 22, marking the transition of leadership for the 2026–2029 tenure.
The session, themed "Ancestral fraternity", was presided over by Kezevi Natso. The programme commenced with an invocation by Rurhosie Male-o, followed by a presidential address by the outgoing President, Khrozote Kapfo.
The General Secretary’s report, detailing the organisation’s milestones and activities, was presented by Asungbe N. Hau.
During the session, the Search/Nomination Committee, led by Convener Thejangulie Angami, officially installed the new executive team.

The newly inducted executive team for the 2026–2029 tenure includes President Sobalie Angami; vice presidents George Chakhesang and Idizung Zeliang; General Secretary Sotilo Seb Rengma; Assistant General Secretary Losü Khekho Mao; Treasurer Maleo Pochury; Finance Secretary Kawang Domta Zeliang; Information and Publicity Secretary Kezevi Natso; Statistical Secretary David Boisingnamai Maram; Games and Sports Secretary Aaron Zhemai Poumai; and women coordinators Kumuni Chache (Mao) and Nenchuli Jemu Rengma.
In his acceptance remarks, the newly elected President, Sobalie Angami, expressed his commitment to upholding the constitutional values of the TYOD and fostering unity among the youth.
MVGOK: The handing-over programme of MVGOK was held on May 22 at the residence of the outgoing MVGOK President, Neidilhou Keditsu, in New Secretariat, Kohima.
During the programme, Keditsu congratulated the new team of MVGOK and expressed hope that they would continue to uphold the spirit and objectives of the Krotho by carrying forward the work initiated for the welfare, unity, and progress of the village and its people.
Keditsu acknowledged that although the outgoing team may not have been able to accomplish all its aspirations during its tenure, every initiative and effort undertaken was carried out with the guidance of God.
Highlighting the formation of MVGOK, he reiterated the objective of the Krotho, which is to bring mutual understanding and cooperation among the members. He further expressed confidence that the new team would carry forward its vision and responsibilities with dedication while assuring that the outgoing members would continue to extend support and assistance to the new team.
The incoming President, Dr. Thepfudi Shüya, in his address, stressed the importance of working in coordination and unity for the welfare of the officers and the village community. He appreciated the outgoing president and his team for their leadership, dedication, and contributions towards the growth and welfare of the Krotho and the people of Meriema village.
The newly elected executive members of MVGOK for the 2026–2028 tenure will be led by Dr. Thepfudi Shüya as president, Neilhoukholie Chielie as general secretary, Kevidezo Chiesotsu as treasurer, and Asonuo Kezieo as information and publicity secretary.
