Dimapur, June 20 (EMN): With an aim to make virtual learning accessible for all classes in view of the global Covid-19 pandemic, the Tenyimi Students' Union Dimapur (TSUD), in collaboration with E-Rebuild, has initiated a programme dubbed as 'Project-Connect' for the student community.
The project aimed at providing affordable desktops for students, which could be availed by everyone.
The features of desktop priced at INR 7000 included '15.6 inches LCD/LED monitor; CPU configuration of 2GB RAM/ 160 HDD/ Intel/ AMD processor along with a mouse, keyboard, cables, and with a one-year warranty.

Speaking to Eastern Mirror, TSUD president Rukewezo Watsah stated that the market price of the desktops costs around INR 10000-15000 depending on the quality and brands. However, he said that the E-Rebuild company and the TSUD have agreed to sell them for INR 7000 per desktop regardless of brands.
He informed that more than 100 students have booked for the same on the first day of the announcement. He also informed that the E-Rebuild team was more than willing to take orders in catering to the needs of the students.
He made it clear that the services offered were only for students.
