Dimapur, Oct. 21 (EMN): The EBRC Tseminyu conducted orientation on learning outcomes for elementary teachers under SDEO Tseminyu on Oct. 20 and 21 at town hall Tseminyu.
Addressing the participant teachers during the inaugural session SDEO Tseminyu Ramdi Thou, emphasised on imparting quality education to students and urged upon teaching fraternity to refresh, update and equip themselves with the skills of teachings making use of technology to enhance their professionalism. He also challenged them to be sincere and increased enrolment of students in government schools in the next academic session.
Resource persons were ToTs (Science) Hinilo Cheng, ToTs (English) Francis Magh, ToTs ( Social Science & EVS) Angela Semy, and Soti ToTs (Maths) Tep. ToTs Lilekle spoke on learning outcome.
Subject teachers were divided into groups for orientation on Science, English, Maths, and Social Science/EVS along with topics on constructivist approach & five Es i.e Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate or Extend and Evaluate.
Demonstration on each subjects were presented by teachers followed by feedback session. Altogether 270 teachers participated.
