TDFA Cup: Excel Naga FC, Adonis FC, Keiyang XI FC, and 40th AR register win

Dimapur, Sep. 19 (EMN): Excel Naga FC, Adonis FC, Keiyang XI FC and 40th Assam Rifles won their respective matches here at the ongoing Tuensang District Football Association (TDFA) Cup played at the parade ground in Tuensang on Wednesday. In the first match, Excel Naga FC beat Leipzig Stars FC 2-0 through Khumpi and Bei who scored in the 21st and 30th minute.

In the second match, Adonis FC blanked Sonic Strikers FC 1-0 through an own goal by Khonimongko in the 29^th minute.

In the third match Keiyang XI FC blanked Homers FC 1-0 through N. Wongto who scored in the 15^th minute. Throngkiuba of Homers FC was awarded a yellow card for unsporting behavior. In the fourth match, 40^th Assam Rifles blanked the Mohican Boys 2-0.  The goals for 40^th AR were scored by Niuthang and Lr. Hmar in the 2^nd and 54^th minute.

The quarter final match will kick-off on Sep. 25 while the semi-final matches will be played on Sep. 27 and the final match on Sep. 28.
