Tata Yodha 4×4 launched in Kohima

Kohima, Aug.20 (EMN): Dimapur Diesels Tata Motors launched Tata Yodha 4×4, the Tata Motors’ latest vehicle in the pick-up truck segment here at Dimapur Diesels Tata Motors, Kohima, one of its sales outlet near TCP Gate in Kohima on August 20.

During  the launching programme, Shashi Kumar, senior manager of SCV Cargo and Pickups, Tata Motors Limited, Guwahati, explained with the help of a video presentation about the specifications and advantages of the new product and gave insights about its offer to a pack of customers who turned up for the event.

Tata Yodha 4×4 with 1860 mm in width, 5005 mm in length, 1810 in height and ground clearance of 190 mm have been tested and tried in the extreme hilly off-road condition before coming to dealerships.

Kumar said hilly states like Mizoram, Nagaland, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan which has desert areas in India have a high demand for the 4×4 vehicle. He added that the new vehicle, prior to its launch, was driven and tested in such places so that it could give better results than what the competition could offer.

Mohan, Dealers Sales Manager of Dimapur Diesels, informed that Kohima citizens now need not come to Dimapur to purchase the vehicle as a new dealer branch has already come up in Kohima with Ruokuolhoutuo Khoubve as the branch manager.

Tata Motors, India’s largest automobile company, officially launched its Tata Yodha 4×4 earlier this year in the month of March with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar as its brand ambassador.

The 4×4 engine has 85 horsepower with 260 mm single clutch plate with GVW of 2800 kg and gradeability of 55 %. The internal load body (lxb) is 7.3 ft x 5.6 ft .

The pick-up truck also comes with AC and music system but it is advisable for customers to consult the workshop staff to get right information about the wiring connection before availing such facilities, it was informed.

The starting price of the vehicle is about INR 7,08000 and the company offers a warranty of 3 years or 3 lakh km (whichever is earlier).
