Dimapur, April 20 (EMN): Tata Sons Private Limited has donated to the Nagaland government establishment approximately 20,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) items to assist in combating the coronavirus pandemic.
Tata Sons Private Limited is the holding company of the industrial conglomerate Tata Group.
The consignment consists of three-ply masks and nitrile gloves, according to updates that were received here on Monday from Nagaland House at New Delhi.
A copy of a letter acknowledging the delivery of the company’s donation to Nagaland received here shows that the PPE consignment consists of 10,000 masks and 10,000 pairs of nitrile gloves.
The principal director of Nagaland House at New Delhi received the consignment, according to the letter.
‘This is to assure you that the above-mentioned donated material will be logged and distributed by our principal director, Nagaland House, Delhi, for use by our doctors, nurses, paramedics, and staff for their safety, protection and reducing risk of being infected while treating patients and discharging their official duties,’ the letter stated.
