Students in Mokokchung town are taking social concerns including a pitch against corruption by dramatizing them in the forms of theater. Members of the Mokokchung College of Teachers Education (MCTE) Students’ Council are seen in the images performing a street play as part of their B.Ed syllabus (Drama and Art in Education) at the Police Point in Mokokchung town on Tuesday, March 22. The students highlighted social issues in their act which was educative for the public who gathered in large numbers to watch the performance. The event was organized by the institution’s principal Krienilie Nagi, with technical support from Temjenzungba, a theatre artist from the National School of Drama in New Delhi.
