DIMAPUR — The Janata Dal (United) Nagaland State unit has decided to support the candidature of Dr. Chumben Murry, the consensus candidate of the NDPP, in the upcoming election Lok Sabha election. In a press release, the state JD(U) said the endorsement of Murry’s candidature is also rooted in the recognition of the JD(U)’s pivotal position within the NDA under the JD(U) national president and Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar. “Following a thoughtful deliberation and consultation with our lone MLA in the state legislative assembly, Jwenga Seb, the party has unanimously decided to rally behind Dr. Chumben Murry,” the party informed.
