Dimapur, Sept 1 (EMN): The prize distribution of an online contest, ‘My Minute to Win it,’ was held at Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) office RCEMPA on Sep. 1.
‘My Minute to Win it,’ is an online contest presented by TaFMA and managed by Naga Musician.
The online contest categories were Guitar, Bass, Drums, Voice, Dance, beat box, Rap, Piano and Mono Act, and the participants were required to upload videos not exceeding one-minute on the Naga Musician Facebook page. The contest was only for solo acts.
The winners in various categories are as follows: On the drums, Huruangpiyang Panmei was declared as the winner; Kunungoyi Chizo was declared as the winner in classical guitar finger style; Rukuta Lohe was adjudged the winner in best vocal; Aben Pongen in dance; Throngtiba Sangtam was declared the winner in beat box and rap categories; Zajamo Kithan in lead guitar; Avie William in the Skit/Mono Act category; Imti Imchen in bass guitar category and Khriekovolu Kereking was declared the winner in the best pianist category.
The winners were awarded with a cash prize of INR 5000 each.
The judges for the online competition were Benli Longkumer, Akum Jinger, Yanpo Humtsoe , Yanger Yaden, Kekhrie Ringa, Thunglamo, Seyievinuo, Anung Walling, Dreams Unlimited Along Lcr, Pastor Zhalie, Among Jinger and Toshimoa.
