The Phek District Task Force for Music and Arts (Tafma) has inaugurated the artists’ platform ‘open house’ for the district with event partner Vibrant Entertainment.
The organisers conducted an inauguration ceremony on Sat. Aug. 31 in Phek with Deputy Commissioner Phek Sachin Jaiswal as the chief host of the event, updates stated.
A press release from the organisers stated that Deputy Commissioner Jaiswal complimented Vibrant Entertainment of Phek district, the event partner of the Tafma, for organising the platform to showcase talents.
The deputy commissioner said that the Tafma, an initiative of the state government, was to promote local talents at the grass root level and to provide platforms to different genres from the remote areas where talents go unnoticed, the updates stated.
Jaiswal was stated to have urged the participants to make use of the opportunity ‘with great zeal which will give huge potential to excel and nurture their talents.’
The note stated that a few cash incentives were awarded to the contestants who participated in the programme.
