TaFMA, Embassy of Latvia to organise ‘Intensive workshop on choir conducting and voice’
Dimapur, Oct. 20 (EMN): Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Wednesday announced that the Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) in collaboration with the Embassy of Latvia in India will organise a 4-day ‘Intensive workshop on choir conducting and voice’ next month.
The workshop will be held at Mountain Music Academy, Aiko Building No. 9, opposite Town Hall in Dimapur from November 8 to the 11th from 10 am to 6 pm.
Registration for the workshop will be free and it will be closed on November 5.
There will be live performances, master classes, techniques, individual lessons, live choir sessions and other activities. It was also informed finale concert will be held at RCEMPA, Jotsoma, Kohima.
The resource persons for the workshop are Egils Jakobsons, Inita Kamarute and Gints Ceplenieks.

TaFMA also thanked Rio and Bertulis for making the workshop happen and the support. It stated that “the intensive training will greatly impact our music ecosystem and help our children”.
