T-shirt campaign on TB conducted in Phek

Dimapur, Sep. 14 (EMN): The national tuberculosis elimination programme (RNTCP) Phek conducted a T-shirt campaign on tuberculosis on September 14.

During the campaign Dr. Ruokuohelie District Tuberculosis Officer (DTO) Phek sensitised the petrol pump workers, traffic police personal and taxi drivers on the treatment facilities provided free of cost to all TB patients, informed an update received on Monday.

The doctor also informed that an amount of INR 500 is given to all TB patients every month until the treatment is over.
