[dropcap]S[/dropcap]echü Zubza Students’ Union (SZSU) has mourned the demise of the three teenagers from Khonoma village who died after drowning at Sanctuary Fall in Dzükou on December 26.
In a condolence message, the SZSU while expressing its pain and sorrow over the untimely demise of the three students, however, shared its relief in retrieving the dead bodies after 75 hours.
“We express our deepest regret over the untimely demise and the manner in which they died,” said the release issued by SZSU president Kezhasezo Sechü and general secretary Kekhrievotso Medoze.The union has also conveyed its condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace.
It may be recalled that the three teenagers Rokosietso Mor (19 years), his younger sister Ketourovino Mor (14 years) and Mhiesikhono Viyie (14 years) drowned at Sanctuary Fall after the icy layer of the lake broke when they were posing for photograph. Their bodies were retrieved on December 29 afternoon and later brought to the village for which the funeral service was held on December 30.
