Sümi Hoho mourns passing of former minister Hokheto Sumi

DIMAPUR — The Sümi Hoho condoled the passing of former minister Hokheto Sumi and described him as ‘a distinguished elder of the Sümi community’.

In a condolence note, it said that his legacy of integrity, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the betterment of the community will forever inspire others.

The organisation said that his contributions, not only as a leader but also as a compassionate human being, have left an indelible mark on the community and that his selfless service and tireless efforts for the welfare and upliftment of people will always be remembered with gratitude.

“On behalf of the Sümi Hoho, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members during this difficult time. May the Almighty grant solace and strength to them as they cope with this profound loss,” the note read.
