Dimapur, Nov. 16 (EMN): The Sumi Healing Festival began at the Agri Expo at 4th Mile in Dimapur on Friday with Pastor Ed Citronnelli of the World Healing International Ministries, and Rev Hevukhu Achumi, executive secretary of the Western Sumi Baptist Akukuhou (WSBAK), as the main speakers.
The healing festival is organised by the WSBAK with the slogan, “Heal us O Lord” and is open to all people irrespective of community or denomination.
The healing festival coincides with the time of the Ahuna festival, and will be culminating on Sunday. The timing of the services is 9:00 am and 3:30 pm.
Prior to commencing his sermon, Pastor Citronnelli called out the names of a few individuals stated to have shown to him through a vision, and told them that God had approved what they had been praying for.
Delivering the sermon, Citronnelli said Jesus has not changed and still does miracles. He said believers will witness miracles of Jesus during the three-day spiritual festival. ‘Jesus is about to come back to earth very soon for those without blemishes,’ he said.
The speaker, who is in the state for the ninth time, told the congregation that Jesus Christ is the saviour and the redeemer of their spirit, soul and body. He said the Bible is very clear that Jesus came to seek and save the lost souls. He drew reference from the Bible passages 1 Timothy 3:16, John 1: 1, John 1: 14 and Revelation 4:11, and Colossians 1:16 in his sermon.
