Dimapur, Oct. 4 (EMN): The Sumi Chess Association Nagaland (SCAN) informed on Friday that it will be organising the Sumi Chess Championship 2019 at the Tourist Lodge in Dimapur from October 29 to the 31st. The categories for the championship are: open category, U-14, and U-17.
U-14 and U-17 players should produce birth certificates registered within one year of birth. The entry fee for open category is INR 1000 while the entry fee for U-14 and U-17 category is INR 500.
Interested players have been asked to pay the entry fee at Tourist Lodge, Dimapur on or before October 28.
The total cash prize for the championship is INR 1,30,000.
