[dropcap]S[/dropcap]ulanthang Odyuo from Wokha won the Aircel Guitar Prodigy while Waluniba Lemtur from Dimapur and Honglep Sangle from Tuensang were declared 1st and 2nd runner-up respectively. The Ultimate Guitarist Hunt organised by Barefoot Production culminated on August 9 at Ana Ki conference hall, Dimapur.
Lulantsi from Chumukedima won the Aircel Guitar Prodigy Viewer’s Choice Award. The show witnessed 10 finalists aged below 21 years who entertained the audience with their impressive renditions of guitar legends like Joe Satriani, Neil Zaza. After a statewide voting, the public chose young lad from Wokha,Sulanthang Odyuo as the ultimate guitarist winning a cash prize of Rs one lakh.
