DIMAPUR — Sudhir Chauhan, representing Nagaland, clinched the bronze medal in Taekwondo Men’s Under 87kg category at the ongoing 37th National Games of India being held in Goa. His podium finish was praised by the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio.

Following Chauhan's bronze medal win, Rio congratulated him and team coach, Visabiu Peseyie on X (formerly Twitter).

"Congratulations, Sudhir Chauhan on winning Bronze medal in 87kg (male) Taekwondo discipline at the #NationalGames. He qualified for the Games by representing Nagaland at Senior Nationals. I also congratulate Team Coach Visabiu Peseyie for the mentorship. I wish them more success," Rio wrote.
