Sudha Das Academic Excellence Award open for applications

DIMAPUR — The family members of the late BK Das and the late Gangamani Rai Das have invited applications for the ‘Sudha Das Academic Excellence Award’ for the year 2024.

This award will be given to the top-performing girl student from the Gorkha community in the Kohima district who achieved the highest marks in the HSLC examination 2024, conducted by the Nagaland Board of School Education.

The award will include a plaque and a cash prize of INR 50,000, according to a press release.

It is exclusively for Gorkha/Nepali girl students who achieve the highest percentage of marks in the HSLC examination. To be eligible, the student must have taken the exam at a school within the Kohima district, regardless of her residential status.

Furthermore, the student must be from the Gorkha community but does not need to be a non-Naga indigenous Gorkha.

Girl students who have secured 80% or above (combined across six subjects) should send their marksheet and contact number to meghrajlama@gmail.com or WhatsApp 9612001207.

The deadline for submitting the marksheet is 6 pm on July 12. Marksheets received after this will not be considered.
