Dimapur, Sep. 3 (EMN): The Kiyeto Village Students’ Union and the Nagaland State Aids Control Society (NSACS) organised a seminar on HIV/AIDS besides a futsal tournament on September 2 at Kiyeto village in Dimapur.
The resource person of the programme was medical officer Dr. Rosemary Sema. She highlighted the causes of HIV/AIDs and how to recognise it, and the ways to diagnosing the symptoms accordingly to treat it.
Sema also emphasised on the myths of transmission that the society believes in. She urged the community to help people affected by HIV/AIDS.
The union has expressed gratitude to Dev, owner of ANS Pharma and Medical, who sponsored the tournament. The group also thanked all who contributed financially, physically and spiritually in making the programme a success.
