Kohima, May 22 (EMN): In an effort to let students get an idea of the universities and the various courses offered, a one-on-one interaction with the institutions was conducted at Hotel De Oriental Grand, Kohima, on May 21 and 22.
Around 300 students turned up for the educational fair organised by the EduCentre and YouthNet in association with Runway, The Knowledge Network and EduHub.
Some of the students have registered for Bachelors and Masters Degree courses. However, many of the students could not register as their results were awaited.
Altogether 15 colleges from across the country participated at the educational fare.
Some of the institutions included Nutan College of Engineering and Research (NCER), Sandip University, NASIR (Maharashtra), Surya Datta Group of Institute Pune, Kamla Nehru Group of Institution Pune, Krupanidhi Group of Institutions, Sharda University, St. Joseph University, Manav Rachna International Institute of Research and Studies, Sanskriti University, NGF College of Engineering and Technology, Shri Ramakrishna Educational Institution, Neasterns Education Consultants, Rajarambapu Institute of Technology, Chitakara University, OM Sterling Global University etc.
The institutions also offered courses such as AI (Artificial intelligence), engineering, MBA, BBA, Law, hotel management, arts, commerce, sports, medicine, dentistry, physiotherapy, management, commerce and IT or new age courses like animation, design, fashion, hospital management, digital marketing etc.
Similar fair will be conducted at Hotel Acacia, Dimapur, on May 24 and 25.
