Students from Manipur on national integration tour meet president

Dimapur, Nov. 17 (EMN): Students from Manipur on national integration tour to Delhi and Agra met President of India Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday at Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The tour is being organised by the Indian Army under the theme ” Today’s Chidren, tomorrows future of the North East” for 18 students and two staff members from Moirang, Kwaktha and Khumbhi villages of Manipur, informed an update from the  PRO (Defence).

During the interaction, the President advised the students to focus on their studies and work hard for a successful career.

A guided tour of the Rashtrapati Bhavan was also organized for the students.

The students also visited premier institutions and witnessed the strides made by India in the fields of economy.

The tour aims at providing an insight to the students on the diversity of India and an  an endeavour of Indian Army to harness the potential of children from remote areas, it said.
