Students discuss AI, investments at PCC inter-department talk
DIMAPUR — The departments of Commerce and Economics, Patkai Christian College (PCC) (Autonomous) jointly organised an inter-departmental talk on Saturday at Bundrock Hall.
The talk deliberated on the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI), investments, and other topics, according to a press release.
On the occasion, Nchumthung Jami from the department of Commerce provided a futuristic perspective on the inclusion of AI in human resource management and how AI will make a mark in it.
Meweu Marhu from the department of Economics gave an in-depth presentation on exchange rates, delving into various types of exchange rates, their importance and impacts, as well as trends and challenges in current rates.
Dewu u Tsido from the department of Commerce spoke on consumer rights, explaining how consumers can protect themselves from being exploited.
Surhiveno Chase from the Economics department spoke on investments and their importance, explaining the various types of risks associated with investments and how such risks can be managed.
The talk was followed by a Q&A session in which students from various departments interacted with the speakers to gain clarity on the topics.
