Diphu, Feb. 9 (EMN): To draw the attention of the administration to the pathetic condition of the Diphu-Lumding road, the Diphu B.Ed College Students’ Union (DBCSU) along with the Assam University Diphu Campus Student’s Union (AUDCSU) has submitted on Feb. 8 Thurs a memorandum to Karbi Anglong’s Deputy Commissioner Adil Khan seeking early completion of construction work on said road.
The memorandum stated that M/S Simplex Company was taking a long time to complete the construction work which is hampering the students and the public in general.
Community organisations have submitted representations to various authorities regarding the pathetic condition of the road. Mention can be made that the pathetic road condition of Diphu-Lumding road was published in Eastern Mirror on Jan. 31.
