The All Nagaland Private Schools Association Dimapur Unit (ANPSA) has strongly condemned the assault on Akivito Sumi, a class 10 student of Christian Hr. Sec. School, on December 28.
In a press release today, the ANPSA stated that Akivito was literally chased just for stopping a fight by some group of unruly boys mostly non-locals till his school gate and was hit with a brick on his head. He remained unconscious till now and is under critical coma case and ICU observation at Guwahati.
The association said it is deeply anguished by the increasing number of crimes taking place in and around Dimapur.
While condemning the heinous act, the ANPSA Dimapur Unit has demanded immediate arrest of the culprits.
The ANPSA Dimapur Unit also appealed to all NGOs and concerned law abiding citizens to condemn such criminality. It further urged the law enforcing agency and the district administration to leave no stone unturned till the culprits are brought to justice.
