Dimapur, May 3 (EMN): As part of the Smoke Free Dimapur campaign, students of Government Higher Secondary School Dimapur staged street play at DC office compound and NST Bus station on May 3.
The street play aims at creating awareness about the law on banning smoking in public places and also about the health consequences of exposure to second hand smoke.
In DC office, SDO Civil, James Swu highlighted the objective of Smoke Free Dimapur campaign. He also appreciated the students for coming forward to involve on the camapaign.
Dr. C Tetseo, District Nodal Officer of NTCP also appreciated the Principal, teachers and students of Government Higher Secondary School for their cooperation. He further called upon other tobacco free institutions to do the same.
