Street Fitness event held at Kohima

Dimapur, August 29: The Native Station Nagaland organised the 2nd Street Fitness event at the Heritage Circle, Raj Bhavan in Kohima on Sunday.
During the event, fitness enthusiasts competed in arm wrestling, running race and push-ups. Hundreds of spectators came together to witness the street sporting events in the state.
Temjenyanger became the fastest man in Kohima during the event while Siponglemla won the running race for female category and received Nike gift vouchers from Tribal Group.
In the arm wrestling bout, Chelo Kapfo emerged as the champion and won gift vouchers from VANS, Gravity while Thepfudilie Chadi was the runner-up. In the female category, Kelhousenuo Khruomo beat Stella Ngullie in the final round.Temjennukshi from Mezhur Higher and Lekolo Ritse from Kohima Science College hit a tie-breaker with 63 full push ups each under one minute in the first round. But in the final round, Temjennukshi won with 70 pushups in one minute, while Lekolo was announced as the runner-up and wrap up with gift vouchers from Skechers.
Dr. Khyobeni Mozhui won the push-ups in female category with 37 push-ups under one minute.
The event was organized by Native Station and supported by PAWF Nagaland (Zumba, Les Mills Body Fitness) with corporate sponsorships from Tribal Group, Gravity, Vans, Nike, Adidas, Skechers, and Reebok.
