A Reddit user named geco_420 recently conducted an analysis revealing the most popular characters in Street Fighter 6. The study drew data from the game's official website and included a sample size of 454,453 IDs, providing intriguing insights into player preferences.

Ken reigns supreme in the rankings, thanks to his dynamic fighting style and longstanding presence in the franchise. Ryu closely follows as a dependable staple of the series. Cammy takes third place because of her superb character design. Meanwhile, newcomers like Marisa, Manon, Jamie, and Luke have managed to capture the attention of Street Fighter enthusiasts.

Interestingly, despite his skill and history in the series, Dhalsim finds himself lower in the rankings than anticipated, suggesting shifting preferences within the community. Another big surprise is Guile, a character who is one of the strongest in the series, comes in at a lowly 16th rank.

Luke, the game's cover star, may benefit slightly from his default status, but it doesn't significantly impact his placement. While future DLC characters could potentially shake up the rankings, it is unlikely that established favourites will see dramatic changes.
