Stranger Things season 4 filming resumes and we are back in the upside down hype
Dimapur, Oct. 2 (EMN): One of Netflix’s most popular series, Stranger Things, have resumed filming its much anticipated fourth season.
The news about restarting the production was presumably announced after a behind-the-scenes image was posted on the official twitter handle of the series.
The image shows a clapperboard and a clock in the background along with the caption, “[M]eanwhile in the upside down…”

Filming for season 4 was in its early stages before production was halted back in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Now it seems like they are back in the ‘upside down’ and people are certainly in the hype train once more.
After the previous summer’s Season 3 finale made fans gasp at the fate of Jim Hopper played by David Harbour, Netflix dropped a first teaser trailer of season 4 on Valentine’s Day titled “From Russia with love…” where it indicated that Hopper is alive and serving time in some sort of snowy Russian gulag. How he got there in the first place is a mystery that season 4 will unravel and fans are obviously excited.
We know that season 4 will expand beyond Hawkins, Indiana, after the show’s creators, The Duffer Brothers, hinted the possibility of an expanded Stranger Things universe before dropping a teaser with the cryptic phrase “We’re Not in Hawkins Anymore.”
