State to observe anti-terrorism day

Dimapur, May 19 (EMN): May 21 is observed as Anti-Terrorism Day with the objective to wean away the youth from terrorism and the cult of violence. With May 21 being Sunday which is a holiday for State government offices, the State government has announced to organise the Anti-Terrorism Day in a befitting manner on May 20 at the Secretariat conference hall at 1330 hours. During the programme, pledge taking ceremony will also be held. All the officers and staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat are requested to make it convenient to participate in the pledge taking ceremony.

State Additional Chief Secretary and Home Commissioner, Temjen Toy has requested all government offices, public sector undertakings and other public institutions in the State to take the pledge.
