Mero clan condemns
Dimapur: The Mero Clan of Pfutseromi village has condemned the attempt to life on its member Abe Mero by ‘so called national’ workers at Jail Colony, Kohima, on April 9. Mero Clan chairman, K Mero, has appealed to the law enforcing agencies to deliver justice by awarding befitting punishment to the culprits as per the law of the land. It has also called upon all citizens to rise against such evil forces, which attempts the life of the peace loving citizens.

BJP Wokha appoints officials
Dimapur: President of BJP, Wokha division, James Patton has appointed CT Ovung and N RenbithungLotha as president and general secretary of 39 A/C Mandal respectively with effect on April 17. The divisional president stated that the appointments were made under the BJP constitution under Article XXV function of the office bearers.

ASUK to organize seminar
Dimapur: The Ao Students Union Kohima (ASUK) is organising a seminar-cum-workshop on the theme ‘Aooshiobenaserkaketkenorenlokren’ on April 26 at Molu Ki, Paramedical, Kohima, starting from 10 a.m. onwards. Informing this in a press release, the Union assistant general secretary, ImtimerenTzudir, has requested all students under ASUK from classes VII and above, parents and well-wishers to attend the programme positively.

Scholarship forms for Pfutsero
Dimapur: The Sub-Divisional Education Officer (SDEO), Pfutsero, has informed all government/ private schools under its jurisdiction to collect the forms of pre-matric scholarship from the office of the SDEO, Ptutsero. The dully filled-up forms should be submitted on or before April 30, a press note informed adding that last year stipend is also ready for distribution.

LCS & RTI informs
Dimapur: The office bearers and member of Life Consumer Society & RTI has announced to conduct awareness-cum social audit programme by visiting business establishments to safeguard the interest of the consumers in phase-wise manner. In this regards, it has informed the bricks factory, stone crusher units, motor vehicle garage and hotels in Dimapur district to display mandatory information issued by the competent authority from time to time in prominent place of their business premises.

Jail inmates grateful
Dimapur: Staff and inmates of Sub-Jail, Dimapur, has expressed gratitude to Generation Countdown Youth Ministry, 6th Mile, Sovima; DABA Home Evangelism Ministry; DABA Khermahal Fellowship; and DABA Education Ministry, Merali Fellowship, for visiting the Jail on the holy occasion of Good Friday and Easter Sunday. It stated the members not only shared the word of God but also showed their concern for the downtrodden people by distributing eatables and gifts. The Jail authority has wished success to every individual and their ministry in their future endeavour.
