LSUSJC 25th anniversary
Lotha Students’ Union St. Josephs’ College (LSUSJC) will celebrate its 25th year anniversary on August 6 at The Heritage, Old DC’s Bungalow with MLA and Chairman, NSMDC, N Thomas Lotha as the chief guest. Assistant professor, department of Sociology, Nagaland University, Athungo Ovung will be the theme speaker and PS to Forest Minister, Hachio Patton will be the special guest at the programme. The organizing committee has informed all the present students, alumni and well wishers to attend the programme.

Alder College mourns
The staff and students of Alder College Kohima mourned the death of a student Abraham Siarau. Describing him as a sincere student and a cheerful person, they conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for peace of the departed soul.

BJP units told to submit roll
The Nagaland unit of BJP has informed all district presidents and ‘Morcha’ presidents to submit the list of their office bearers with along with their mobile numbers, name and addresses. The lists are to be submitted latest by August 15. A release from the party said the district and Morcha presidents are to submit a list of the all mandal presidents and office bearers, list of all local committee presidents and office bearers, total active members in each mandal and district, total primary membership in each mandal and primary committee, name of state council member with mobile number, state executive (if any), total executive members in each district and mandal and local committee. The lists are to be submitted to nagabjphoho@gmail.com or fax at 03862-232548, phone at 03862-225841 or through courier or postal service.

Tsüngremmong in Delhi
A Tsüngremmong festival programme as well as seminar was held by the Delhi Ao Senso Telongjem in Samaj Sadan auditorium in New Delhi on August 3. Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture Dr. Benjongliba was the chief guest of the programme.

Ex-Servicemen Mkg informed
Mokokchung district Ex-Servicemen contingent will take part in the Independence Day celebration. Zila Sanik Welfare officer, Mokokchung, Lt Col RS Ahluwalia (Retd) has informed all ex-servicemen from Aliba, Kenunger, Chungtia, Khensa, Longkhum, Mangmetong, Ungma, Chuchuyimpang, Mokokchung villages and Mokokchung town to attend the function. Commandant 31 Assam Rifles will host Independence Day Feast after the function.
SWHC song practice
Convenor of praise and worship, Nagaland Christian Revival Churches, Sumi Women, Highway Churches, Kahuli P Achumi has requested all its praise and worship team members to reach Purana Bazar Church at 9 am on August 8 for song practice.
