DC Kohima directs BLOs
Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS has directed all BLOs of 10th Northern Angami-I AC to report to the DB Court, Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima on July 21 at 11:30 a.m. positively for briefing on distribution of voter slips for the bye-election to the 10th Northern Angami-I AC.
DWO Dimapur informs beneficiaries
District Welfare Officer (DWO) Dimapur has informed all beneficiaries of old age, widow, disabled blind under NSAP and State, department of Social Welfare who have not yet collected their pensions for nine months to collect their pensions at DWO office, Diphupar Dimapur on July 21, along with xerox copy of Aadhaar and bank account front page. This will be the last & final date for payment.
KMC directs business community
Kohima Municipal Council (KMC), Kethosituo Sekhose has directed all the business establishment and shopkeepers within Kohima Municipal Council jurisdiction to whitewash and clean the front side of their respective shops facing the road side on or before August 10 to face-lift for the forthcoming Independence Day 2017.
Medziphema sub-division co-ordination meet held
Medziphema sub-division departmental co-ordination meeting was held on July 19at ADC Office, Medziphema, under the chairmanship of Additional Deputy Commissioner Medziphema, Vikhweno Chale. Work assignments for Independence Day celebration 2017 at Medziphema were entrusted to different departments. It also decided that march past practice for the contingents would commence from August 8.
