State made more than INR 400 crore in motor tax in six months

Dimapur, Feb. 8 (EMN):The ministry of Road Transport & Highways issued 3, 50,593 national permits to Nagaland, and making a total INR 573.83 crore as revenue that was collected from Feb. 2019 to April 2109. On the other hand, the motor vehicle tax was stated at INR 464.98 crore.
The Nagaland official chief minister dashboard states that the total number of national permits that were issued (cumulative) in Feb. 2019 was 3, 31,499; and 3, 46,201 for March 2019. The total number of it in April 2019 was 3, 50,593.
The total revenue (cumulative) that was collected for Feb. 2019 was INR 542.33 cr.; and INR 566 cr. for March 2019. The total for April 2019 was INR 573.83 cr.
The total number of vehicles that have been registered in Nagaland from Aug. 2019 to Jan. 2020 is 3, 33,860. Motor vehicle tax was stated at INR 464.98 cr. The number of vehicle permits that was issued was 3,196. This number too was stated in the updates on the dashboard.
According to the data, Kohima recorded the highest number of registrations, among the eight districts, with 1, 39,991 of them. The district with the lowest was Zunheboto district with 2,885 registrations, the updates stated.
