State Handloom Expo in Kohima from March 5
DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation (NHHDC) Ltd. (a Government of Nagaland undertaking), Dimapur, is organising the State Handloom Expo at Kohima village ground from March 5 to 18.
In a press statement, NHHDC Ltd. mentioned that the last date for submission of applications is February 26. The event is sponsored by the office of the Development Commissioner (Handloom), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
Interested cooperative societies, producer companies, self-help groups, federations, apex societies, handloom and handicrafts agencies, including silk weavers, jute artisans, and khadi and village industries commissions, may apply for participation to the Project Cell, NHHDC Ltd., Half Nagarjan, Dimapur.
The application should include detailed addresses, mobile numbers, and bank account numbers with the IFSC codes of the participants and must be submitted on or before the last date during office hours.
All stalls will be provided free of charge, and lump sum travel allowance, daily allowance (TA/DA) and freight charges will be reimbursed as per the prescribed rates of the National Handicrafts Development Programme (NHDP) guidelines, it said.
