DIMAPUR — The Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd. (a Govt. of Nagaland undertaking) is organising a State Handloom Expo at Urban Haat, Dimapur, from February 16 to 29.
The expo is being sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handloom), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, New Delhi, according to an update.
Interested cooperative societies, producer companies, self-help groups, federations, apex societies, handloom and handicrafts agencies, including silk weavers, jute artisans and khadi and village industries commissions, can apply to participate, it said, specifying that the last date to submit applications is February 12.
Participants need to apply to the Project Cell, NHHDC Ltd., Half Nagarjan, Dimapur, during office hours, along with their detailed address, mobile number, and bank account details with IFSC codes.
All stall spaces will be provided free of charge, it said, adding that lump sum travel allowance, dearness allowance and freight charges will be reimbursed as per National Handicrafts Development Programme guidelines.
