State government has requested all concerned to note that non-transaction Wednesdays i.e. 9th, 16th, 23rd and 30th March 2016; and non-transaction Saturday i.e. 19th March 2016 have been declared as transaction days both in treasuries and banks in all districts.
According to DIPR report, the non-transaction Saturdays i.e. 12th and 26th March 2016, which have been declared as working Saturdays for government employees in Kohima by the Home Department will also be declared as transaction days for treasuries and banks in Kohima.
All departments have been requested to ensure that proposals for issue of DA/DL are submitted to the Finance Department on or before 21st March 2016 (Monday), except for those proposals under CSS, NEC, NLCPR, etc, which may be sanctioned and credited to the State account only at the fag end of the financial year. Departments are also to ensure that all requisite details for issue of DA/DL are furnished along with their proposals for facilitating Finance Department to examine and dispose the matters without delay.
All departments are to ensure that the DA/DL issued by Finance Department are presented to and passed by the Treasuries on or before 29th March 2015 (Tuesday). No claim for cash payment will be entertained in the treasuries after 29th March 2015, except on the strength of DA/DL issued by the Finance Department, the report said.
