Dimapur, July 3 (EMN): In supersession of all earlier notification, State Governor has appointed several members of Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) as chairman of District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) with immediate effect.
According to the Planning and Coordination department, Jacob Zhimomi has been appointed as chairman for Dimapur DPDB, while Namri Nchang has been appointed as chairman of Peren DPDB, Dr. Neikiesalie Kire has been appointed chairman of Kohima DPDB, Neiba Kronu as chairman of Phel DPDB, Sharingain Longkumer as chairman of Mokokchung DPDB, Kazheto Kinimi as chairman of Zunheboto DPDB, Mhathan Yanthan as chairman of Wokha DPDB, Eshak Konyak as chairman of Mon DPDB, BS Nganglang as chairman as chairman of Longleng DPDB, Toshi Wungtung as chairman of Tuensang DPDB, and V Kashiho Sangtam as chairman of Kiphire DPDB.
In an update, Additional Secretary and Development Commissioner, Lhoubeilatuo Kire stated that the Notification No. PLN-LADP/57/2004 date 27 and 28 July 2004 would govern the role, functions and responsibilities of the chairman, District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) and that of the DPDB.
