DIMAPUR — The third Nagaland State Finance Commission team led by Sarah R Ritse, retired commissioner and secretary, visited Longleng district on Thursday and held meeting with government officials and representatives of civil society organisations in the conference hall of the deputy commissioner’s office.

A DIPR report stated that representatives from Longleng Town Council, Tamlu Town Council, ward presidents and line departments have shared grievances relating to various services with the visiting team.

Sarah Ritse informed that the visit was to collect data and find out the real ground reality. She urged all line departments to coordinate accordingly with the district administrator for the smooth implementation of the development projects.

Report stated that administrative officers, officials from PWD (Road and Bridges), PHED, Electrical and DPRO Longleng, presidents of Phom Peoples' Council (PPC), Phomla Hoichem (PH), Phom Students' Conference (PSC), Longleng Town Wards Union and presidents of 11 wards attended the meeting.
