State BJP workers trained for door-to-door recruitment program

[dropcap]A[/dropcap] State level workshop on Mass Contact Program (Mahasampark Abhiyan), MSA was conducted by the BJP Nagaland State Unit on April 25 last at the conference hall of Bharatiya Janata Party Head Office in Dimapur.
The resource person for the workshop was Kailash Vijayvargiya, Minister of Urban Administration, Housing & Environment, government of Madhya Pradesh.
Dr K Hoshi, State Convener, MSA chaired the session while Dr M. Chuba Ao, State BJP President delivered the keynote address.The resource person, Kailash Vijayvargiya in his address to the party workers highlighted that, with over ten crores already enrolled as primary members across the country, BJP has become the largest political party in the world.
He stressed that the objective of the workshop was to train the party workers for door-to-door exercise to introduce new members into BJP and cross-check the genuineness of the members enrolled. He said; that Mahasampark Abhiyan is about taking the party and the government to the doorsteps of the people.
The task is to educate the registered primary members about the values practiced, secular ideology followed and stands taken by BJP and also make them aware of the history of the party. It is also to see that the benefits of NDA government’s development initiatives are reaching the last person in the grass root level.
He said thart this mass contact program will make BJP a strong party and NDA government a strong one. He also said that if BJP is to form the government in Nagaland, party workers should take this exercise with all seriousness. He highlighted the action plan of MSA and the need to constitute various committees at all levels to complete the exercise within the stipulated time-frame.
Makuran Rongmei, State Co-Convener MSA gave a presentation on the guidelines of MSA in the second session. The workshop concluded with Prasant Arora, General Secretary (Org) delivering organization directives to the BJP workers. The workshop was attended by district Conveners, Co-Conveners, district Presidents and General Secretaries, State office bearers and State frontal chiefs.
