State BJP observes ‘Swachhta Hi Seva’

Dimapur, Sep. 29 (EMN): Commemorating the 103rd birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhaya, the BJP Karyakartas from all the 60 assembly constituencies of Nagaland ranging from the state and district office bearers, mandals, blocks including all cells and morchas took part in “Swachhta Hi Seva” (Cleanliness is service) in their respective areas on September 28.

‘Swachhta hi Seva’ is a mission initiated by the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi all over the country with a view to keep India clean in all aspects, stated an update from the deputy chief minister media cell. It stated that the Swachh Bharat Mission has been meticulously initiated not only to keep the environment clean and healthy but also keep the countrymen clean at heart and free from all sorts of corruptions so that the entire country could march ahead in all fronts.

It added that ‘Swachhta hi Seva’ is also a mission to create an awareness amongst the people to take responsibility in creating clean environment and make their areas a better place to live in.

On the occasion, deputy chief minister and BLP leader Y Patton thanked and congratulated the BJP Karyakartas of all rank and files of the state for partaking in the ‘Swachhta hi Seva’ and successfully carrying out the mission in every nooks and corners. He further urged every BJP functionaries to keep up the spirit of rendering public services even in days to come.
