They motivated the participants to avail loans online as part of the Stand Up India programme ‘so that it can help on tracking those entrepreneurs whose loan got pending,’ the updates stated.
Gangte is stated to have clarified that Stand Up India was not a grant but a loan which was not like a normal loan with a high rate of interest, the press release stated. “Stand up India is to help genuine entrepreneurs who could not avail loan despite their effort with banks.

There was a group discussion between the participants and banks officials during which queries were raised and replied to. ‘Some of the questions raised by the participants were whether they can avail loan on any consultancy services? How much time does it take to process the loan? One of the entrepreneur express the problems faced by her and how she run from bank to bank for loan but couldn’t avail it and don’t get support from bank,’ the updates stated.
