Start-up Nagaland boot camp held in Peren

Dimapur, Sep. 7 (EMN): Department of Industries and Commerce conducted a start-up Nagaland boot camp for Peren district at St. Xavier’s College auditorium, Jalukie town on September 7 where more than 100 people attended the camp.
The boot camp was organised with an aim to scout budding entrepreneurs in the district with Kuko Nuh as the main resource person, a press release issued by the general manager of DIC, Peren, Imliwabang said.

The programme began with an invocation prayer led by Fr. John Vipral and welcome address by Imliwabang, general manager DIC, Peren. A topic on entrepreneurs development programme was also delivered by Mhonbeni Kikon and Khekihe Zhimo from DIC Peren and a motivational talk by Namrenbe Kenns Secretary of Traders Union Jalukie.

In the second session, 24 participants presented their own innovative ideas for start-up wherein three winners were selected by a panel of judges. A cash prize of INR 6000, INR 4000 and INR 3000 along with certificate of merits were given away to the winners. The programme was chaired by Alum Zeliang, EO DIC, Peren.
