Stallions wins MS Ahluwalia Memorial 3×3 Open Basketball Tournament

Dimapur, Sep. 28: Stallions emerged champions of the first MS Ahluwalia Memorial 3×3 Open Basketball Tournament after defeating OG 17-15 in a very competitive final match at the PWD Children’s Park in Dimapur on Saturday, September 28.

Earlier, playing the first semi-final, Stallion defeated Hard Knox. Keneitseizo Belho of Stallions was awarded the Most Valuable Player (MVP).

In the second semi-final, OG defeated Taurus while Chumben of OG was awarded Most Valuable Player (MVP).

In the final match, Keneitseizo Belho of Stallions was again awarded the Most Valuable Player.

The day also witnessed other competitions where Keneitseizo Belho won the 3 point shooting competition and received INR 3500.

Achang won the best lay-up competition and received INR 1000.

It was indeed a great day for the Kohima lad Belho winning a total of three individual awards along with being part of the champions’ team.

The champions received INR 20000 while the runners-up had to be content with INR 15000.

The MVP in the final match was awarded INR 3000 while the MVP in the semi-final matches received INR 1000.
